In January 2011 Nobleton Kennels discontinued our boarding business due to family illness. We urge you to stay in touch as circumstances could result in a change of ownership and re-opening sometime in the future.

In the meantime we intend to maintain our organic beef business and expect to be selling sides and split sides in Winter 2011-2012. Please email ellis.greenstein@gmail.com for more beef info.

A Brief History

1974 - fifty acre farm property purchased in Nobleton, Ontario by Dr. Ron Middleton which became the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ellis Greenstein, in May of that year

1975 - upgrades were completed to the farm to make it suitable for beef cow and calf production

1976 - construction of the boarding kennel was completed in July

1978 - Nobleton Kennels became a charter member of the American Boarding Kennels Association

1987 - the farm and kennel businesses were incorporated as Nobleton Boarding Kennels Limited

1993 - NBK became a member of the Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA)

1998 - cattle were no longer fed hay or pasture from fertilized fields or grain that had not been certified organic

2001- the farm property received Organic Crop Improvement Association certification

2006 - July marked the kennel’s thirtieth anniversary
