A Brief History

· 1974 - fifty acre farm property purchased in Nobleton, Ontario by Dr. Ron Middleton which became the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ellis Greenstein, in May of that year

· 1975 - upgrades were completed to the farm to make it suitable for beef cow and calf production

· 1976 - construction of the boarding kennel was completed in July

· 1978 - Nobleton Kennels became a charter member of the American Boarding Kennels Association

· 1987 - the farm and kennel businesses were incorporated as Nobleton Boarding Kennels Limited

· 1993 - NBK became a member of the Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA)

· 1998 - cattle were no longer fed hay or pasture from fertilized fields or grain that had not been certified organic

· 2001- the farm property received Organic Crop Improvement Association certification

· 2006 - July marked the kennel’s thirtieth anniversary
